Status of Chinese Used Car Market

As of June 2021, the number of cars in my country has reached 290 million, which has maintained rapid growth for many years. Among them, the number of new energy vehicles is 6.03 million. From 2018 to 2020, the sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 1 million for three consecutive years.
Affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic and other factors, the scale of second-hand car transactions in my country in 2020 has declined, but the annual transaction volume still reached 14.341 million vehicles, with a transaction value of 888.84 billion yuan.

With the implementation of policies such as electrification of the public sector and the early elimination of diesel trucks operating with emission standards of China III and below in key areas, a large number of vehicles in good condition and with great overseas market demand have been eliminated ahead of schedule.
The huge car ownership and second-hand car transaction volume, as well as more cost-effective vehicles and more abundant models have provided sufficient vehicle sources for my country's second-hand car exports.
