8 Things to Check Before Driving

　　Truck drivers are always busy with transportation. But no matter how busy you are, remember to check the condition of the truck before driving to avoid various minor problems that affect the normal ride. You can check them one by one according to the following list.

　　1. OILS

　　Check whether various oils need to be replenished. Including coolant, engine oil, urea, fuel, glass water, etc.; if there is a decrease, replenish it in time. The addition of various oil should be kept between the upper and lower limits. In addition, it is necessary to check whether there is leakage of each component. If there is leakage, contact a service station for repairs.

　　2. BATTERY POWER.

　　If your truck isn’t used for a long time, the battery will lose power, and it needs to be charged in time to start smoothly.

　　3. GAS CIRCUIT AND OIL CIRCUIT

　　Water in the oil circuit may cause the truck to become weak. Before driving the car, you can pump oil through a hand oil pump or an electronic oil pump to check whether the low-pressure oil circuit has air intake. Besides, check whether the drying chamber is normal, clean up oil and other impurities to avoid blockage of the gas path. Finally, remember to clean up the water in the coarse filter collection cup in time to avoid the deposition of moisture and impurities.

　　4. PIPELINES

　　Check whether various pipelines have cracks and aging condition, and whether the sockets are loose, and promptly investigate and deal with hidden dangers.

　　5. TIRE PRESSURE

　　If your truck is parked for a long time, the tire pressure may change. Before driving, you should carefully check each tire to see whether the pressure is consistent, and keep the tire pressure on both sides as consistent as possible to prevent unnecessary tire wear. In addition, you need to check whether the tire has cracks and air leakage, and remove the gravel mixed in the tire pattern.

　　6. BRAKE SYSTEM

　　The brake system is very important for driving safety, so it must be overhauled before driving. Trucks without automatic adjustment arms need to be manually adjusted the brakes. Trucks with automatic adjustment arms need to be checked whether the adjustment arms need to be lubricated. You also need to check the air chamber reset spring, brake shoe tension spring, etc. In addition, check the wear degree of the brake pads and replace them in time.

　　7. THREE MAJOR ITEMS------ENGINE, GEARBOX AND AXLE

　　There are generally no problems with the three major parts, but once there appears a problem, it may seriously affect the normal operation of the truck. Before driving, you should also check the three major parts, and pay attention to whether there is abnormal noise after starting.

　　8. STEERING SYSTEM

　　Many truck drivers may ignore this part of the inspection, mainly to check whether the lubrication of the mechanical connection of the special system, the steering oil and filter element are sufficiently cleaned, whether the steering rod and pressure bearing are in normal condition.
